Shaaba Group, founded in 1984 by Seth Adjei Baah (Hon.), is a consortium of companies with interests in trading, building and road construction, manufacturing, hospitality, and consulting. Through his leadership, Shaaba Group has grown to provide successful household brands such as Ranto, Golden Blue, Smile, Rock Nails, and black diamond among others to the Ghanaian and West African Markets.
Born in 1960 in Nkawkaw – Kwahu, which is regarded to have the foremost entrepreneurial-oriented people in Ghana, Hon. Seth Adjei Baah started honing his innovative, problem-solving, and investment skills at a young age. From the production and distribution of ‘Don’t -Touch – Me’ Soap, he has developed into a very renowned Entrepreneur. His excellent trade, business negotiation skills, strategic policy formulation, and implementation with a proven track record of success in diverse business concerns have made him invaluable in both private and public service over the past thirty (30) years. As a man of many hats, Hon. Seth Adjei Baah has been a political and government functionary in the areas of Trade, Industry, Health, and Tourism, having served as a member of parliament, and on numerous public and private boards, such as the Ghana Tourism Authority, University of Ghana Medical Center Board, MASLOC, Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, PAN African Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Private Enterprise Foundation to name a few.
Hon. Seth Adjei Baah has led his beloved alma mater, St. Peters Senior High School as the National President and a field representative of the Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship amongst others. He holds a master’s in Governance and leadership from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and is a professional member of the Institute of Commercial Management (UK). He is married to his beautiful wife Rosemond for over 36 years with four (4) children and is a member of the church of Pentecost. His interests are cooking, philanthropy and sports. One thing that stands out is that he is an advocate and strong negotiator for private sector business, trade, and investments in Ghana and Africa with a focus on industrialization.
